Icy

A three-panel comic. Panel one: A person in a green shirt tells Tater Tot (a buff tabby cat), 'Welp, I gotta get ready for my thing.' Tater Tot replies, 'And I can't be late for my new job.' Panel two: A wordless beat — Tater Tot and the person walk off in separate directions. Panel three: Both have changed clothes. Tater Tot now wears an ICE agent's tactical vest, cap, sunglasses, and mask. The human wears a black t-shirt reading 'FUCK ICE.' Both stare at each other in silent tension. The joke is structural: the human's 'thing' is obviously an ICE protest, and Tater Tot's new job is obviously an ICE Agent. The strip is political commentary, not just a gag.

Panel 1:

A person in a green shirt stands talking to Tater Tot (a buff tabby cat) in a casual blue-walled room. Both seem relaxed.

Person: 'Welp, I gotta get ready for my thing.'

Tater Tot: 'And I can't be late for my new job.'

Panel 2:

Tater Tot and the person walk off the panel in separate directions to go get ready.

Panel 3:

Both have changed. Tater Tot now wears an ICE agent's tactical vest with 'ICE' across the chest, a dark cap with a yellow star insignia, sunglasses, and a mask. The person wears a plain black t-shirt with 'FUCK ICE' printed across it. They face each other in silence, the room and posture unchanged from panel two but the meaning of everything inverted.
